Now that we have the Lebron camp question out of the way…

Ohio has a lot of different basketball camps to choose from. We’ll go over some of the notable camps.

Pro tip: Before you start your search, have a city or cities in mind that you can travel to. It will help you avoid info overwhelm!

Pro Hoops Baby

The Cavs put on a ton of camps throughout the summer. Last time I checked they had 18 in greater Cleveland.

Plus, they have weekend clinics, and individual, small group, and team training year round. Plenty of options if you live in or around Cleveland.

Some of my regulars may know this, but National Camps are held in several states around the country.

Several of the big names are in Ohio, including Nike, Breakthrough Basketball, and PGC Basketball. Breakthrough has camps held year-round for all ages and skills levels, so check them out.

Notable Camps – with year round training

One of the most interesting camps in Ohio is Jason Otter’s School of Basketball Training.

Their training looks top notch. I can tell by all the free basketball info on their website, they really know the game and how to effectively teach it to youth players.

If you are a die hard THE Ohio State University Buckeyes fan, Aaron Craft is coming back to put on a camp in Worthington.

Basketball Camps Hosted By Colleges

All the classic, big D1 colleges with solid bball programs have camps like Ohio State, Xavier, University of Cinci.

A sleeper college camp (sleeper status supplies to the NCAA tourney too) is University of Dayton. Last time I checked they had 16 different basketball camps for both boys and girls. That’s almost Cavaliers status!

Don’t forget about the D2s and D3s. They may not be as in demand as the D1 schools, but can have excellent training.
