Phoenix Suns Basketball Camp
Need to Know Info
The Phoenix Suns basketball camps are for boys and girls ages 6-17. They host 2 different basketball camps. A day camp and an overnight camp.
The Day camp is pretty self explanatory. It’s during the day and the campers will need transportation to and from the camp. It is located at Thunderbird High in Phoenix. Days will include station work, drills, films, guest speakers, and several competitive games.
The Overnight camp is located at Pine Summer Camp in Prescott. In addition to the basketball skills above, campers will also be able to rest and relax by playing on the min-golf course, ping pong tables, and pool tables.
Someone from the Suns organization will be at the camp for 2 hours per day. This will be the time for your son or daughter to get autographs or shoot around with the local Phoenix celebrity. It’s only 2 hours per day because the main purpose for the camp is for basketball instruction. Not autographs!
Every camper will receive:
• Expert one-on-one instruction
• Autograph from a Suns player
• Official reversible camp jersey
• Official camp backpack
• Official camp t-shirt
• Official camp hat
• Phoenix Suns basketball
• Free ticket to a Suns pre-season home game
• Free ticket to a Mercury home game in August or September
• Chance to meet Suns and Mercury players
• Lots of game action and learning
Also think about playing in the Jr Suns or Jr Mercury basketball league! They have four different seasons every year and play in several different locations. Your son or daughter can receive: a official Suns/Mercury Jersey, a ticket to a home game, special discounts for merchandise, and appearance by professional players!
