Basketball Training Resources
I thought it would be helpful to create a page of my favorite Basketball Training Resources.
All of these products and workouts I have either personally used or thoroughly reviewed. If used properly, I believe they will help elevate a player’s game.
At Youth-Basketball-Camps.com I always try to provide information to get young athletes better at basketball.
These basketball training resources are an extension of that mission. Enjoy!
Basketball Training Aids
A must have for improving dribbling skills. Trains players to not look at the basketball while dribbling! It’s important to keep your head up to see the open man down the court and predict defensive traps.
My favorite new basketball technology. A tool to track your make and misses. Compete against friends. Got to check it out if shooting shots every day. Make every shot count!
This ball had a huge impact on my dribbling abilities. Practicing dribbling drills with a heavy ball instead of a regular basketball increases your strength and increases the quickness of your dribble.
Great shooting training aid. Train to shoot the basketball off of your fingers. Also forces you to dribble off finger tips. Am essential habit if you’re going to be an elite dribbler.
Basketball Training Equipment
Great for solo shooting sessions. The ball will kick back to you on every make. My favorite use for this ball return is for free throws. If you never miss, you never have to move!
An upgrade from the Shoot-Around. Unlike the Shoot-Around, the Rapid Fire the net will catch the ball when you miss. Great way to get up a lot of shots fast!
Use your time wisely and always try to practice in game-like situations. The D-Man will simulate a defender in your driveway! It also helps shooters get used to a hand in their face during a shot.
The best program to increase your vertical jump. Receive one-on-one coaching and there’s a 10+ inch gain guarantee! Click here to read my review of the Jump Manual.
I spent countless hours on an agility ladder earning faster footwork. Add this to your workout routine to gain speed and quick on the court. Beginners can find drill videos on the product’s website.
Fun Basketball Equipment
My son and I love playing with this mini hoop in the house! It comes with a real rubber basketball, not a nerf one. The rim, net, and clear backboard are lifelike. Great for the office too!
